Did my NVQ exams today. Word from my training advisor is that I've passed all three!
(They're done on laptops via broadband so are marked almost immediately.)
Don't have the actual scores yet but YAY. :)

My manager wants to know why we can't fix the economy by just printing more money and giving everyone an extra £5000 to sort themselves out.

I've tried to explain it to her but she just ain't getting it.

The Stargate PTB do not get any cookies. Nu uh. The OC meets Voyager? I'll watch it but I fear the mocking is more or less inevitable. Unless they get some serious pretty on board then I will continute to watch for purely shallow reasons.

So far this year we have received about 24 boxes of Christmas cards and 10 boxes of 2008 calendars.

That's about 1200 individual cards.

There are 107 days until Christmas.

The first display goes out in a month.
(Although if you go to some of our bigger stores you can already buy packs of Christmas cards.)
